First, as I've done before in this space, now let me praise again Maureen Dowd, one of the few stylists left in newspaper writing (R.I.P. Captain Airwaves, stay well, Simon Hoggart). Today, she nails the Obama story with the idea that Obama's tetchy behavior is that of a man trying to kick a nicotine habit. In my preceding post, I noticed that the Times beat the Post to disover that Obama used a space heater during his arctic announcement, here Dowd reveals how thin-skinned the Senator is on this and other topics. Essential reading.
Now, let me take another crack at a political prediction, noting, as I've noted before, when I make a mistake (which is often) it's a beaut. I've also remarked recently that everybody whose name has ever been in the paper seems to think they have a credible case to make as a candidate for President. Can a Donald Trump declaration be far behind?
But for what it's worth, doesn't Wesley Clark look like a Vice President? Clinton/Clark? You heard it here first...
Mr. Obama would do well to stock up on http://skincarerx.com/retinol.html.

Actually, I read the Clinton/Clark thing on another high-priced blog a week or so ago. However, it doesn't mean you're wrong. And, of course, we still love you.
I still like Clark at the top of the ticket myself, but it's looking that that's not to be. Great VP choice, though. For any of 'em.
